is it a coincidence that the judge was a female/Jew whose son is also the leader of a modern American-based Jewish movement called Reconstructionist Judaism?
Verdict aside, the appointment of this specific judge for this case maybe America’s ‘in your face’ message to Islamic fundamentalist.
So ,are people going to protest and burn US flag, private property, tyres and shout "death to satan USA"?. He is a son-of-pakistan just like dukhtaran-e-milat dr.aafia, No?
question is, regardless of the judge's faith or her son's viewpoints, is the verdict fair or not.
If it is not fair than Faisal is free to appeal it, but I dont think any judge will be lenient.
I mean I suppose he could have gone for a insanity plea of some sort,
but the dude tried to do something idiotic, got caught and needs to serve the time.

I dont think that he is going to appeal as he pleaded guilty to began with, asked his attorney today not to speak, and kept telling the judge that Quran gives Muslims the right to defend themselves when the judge asked him to think if Quran teaches to kill innocent people.
He is one of those lunatics that give Muslims and islam a bad name.
Absolutely no reason to disparage the judge in any way. Totally unrepentant nutcase. Look at the life he had: Married to a beautiful wife, couple of kids, educated, from a good family. No excuse of poverty or illiteracy or no opportunity in life. And he threw it all away for what? To be a bigshot killer? What a jerk.
I feel so sorry for his parents and his wife. And he makes everything more difficult for every honest, decent Pakistani or Pakistani-American.
