exactly…even i wasnt taught tht when i was a kid…i studied with a no of non muslims…and never had any ill feeling for them…but aaj ke zamane ke kids …i do see them at times saying stuff like…haan wo kaafir hai na isiliye aisa kiya…and im like WHAAAATTTTTT :eek:

Some classmates from school used to taunt me for being muslim…while few from university used to be surprised after hearing that muslims dont celebrate hindu festivals…:hehe:

i was in saudia so no one could taunt us…infact..ramadhan mai…sirf class ek ander non muslims and other muslims who didnt fast cud eat …no eating outside class breaks mai bhi..and canteen bhi nahi khulti thee ramadhan mai.

but yeah we had new year party ,eid party but never christmas party or …but yeah teachers did celebrate the pongal(or somethign liek tht)
