Re: Time of month- shreds of meat
I believe some clotting is normal unless its different than normal accompanied with diff than normal cramping etc which could be a chemical (early) miscarriage.
Re: Time of month- shreds of meat
eww ....i've never heard this term being used ever!

What does going to toilet have to do with trying to get pregnant? Time of the month suggests menstruation.
Re: Time of month- shreds of meat
Stonecold, it means you should go see a doctor.
Re: Time of month- shreds of meat
The doctor has indicated everything as ok.....so was just wondering if anyone else was familiar with this?
Indeed menstruction is indicated. But like i said the person in question is trying to get pregnant...and so mestruction is getting shreds of meat....in urine or excrement i dont know...

Re: Time of month- shreds of meat
^he is indeed!
Re: Time of month- shreds of meat
stonecold…
sometimes this can happen during a “chemical miscarriage”. Chemical miscarriages can occur around the time of one’s period except it tends to be heavier then a normal period.
from my understanding Chemical miscarriages are very common and goes unnoticed by many except for those that are actively trying to conceive.
you can google “chemical miscarriages” to get more information about it.
p.s. in the future please dont call it “shreds of meat” ![]()
perhaps you can call it “clots of blood” instead?
Re: Time of month- shreds of meat
point taken! no more butcher terms!!! :)
i will check out your advice.
Re: Time of month- shreds of meat
The clots you see is a part of the endometrium (uterine lining) shedding and is nothing to be concerned about. Menstruation occurs when the broken down lining of the uterus flows out through the vagina. I dont think it has anything to do with trying to get pregnant.
Re: Time of month- shreds of meat
^ most reasonable answer so far and I have to agree with it. Ask the person to take better fluids i.e. water and juices.
Moreover, direct and perfect answer can't be given here unless whole history of the patient is provided.
Re: Time of month- shreds of meat
