What tools and methodologies do you employ to manage your time?
Re: Time Management Techniques
Don't rush things.
don't put off things to be done for a later time, unless it's unimportant.
plan the day in advance, and stick to the plan as much as possible.
decide what needs your most urget attention and get that done first.
i wish i was smart enough to follow that once in a while, but im not really complaining yet.
Re: Time Management Techniques
white board :k:
Re: Time Management Techniques
I personaly use a white board 2 -3 places around the house ...helps me 2 keep on track :)
Palm pilot didnt help that much
Re: Time Management Techniques
Palm....would never work to help me manage time.
I find that any device that requires me to update IT, fails.
The stupid thing is supposed to work for me, not the other way around.
I prefer lists.....to do lists....to get lists......
Lists that I just need to execute.
Re: Time Management Techniques
Make a list, put it on tack board or on your monitor screen, (BTW my monitor screens are full of stickies, cant even see the color of it now), i make a list for myself every morning, its usually more then i can do in a day, if i finish 60% or more its a good day for me.
Re: Time Management Techniques
Have a to do list. Then prioritise, things that need to be done on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Then allocate time in the diary to actually doing those things....leave some free time to deal with any unexpected problems.
Re: Time Management Techniques
just go with the flow
