Timatar ghost Recipe

i made timatar ghost an masoor ki daal for dinner, and it turned out to be good plus its a low fat recipe
4 WW points per serving, serves 6

1.bakri ka ghosht 1 lb
2.low fat yourt 1 1/2 tbsp
3.red chii powder 1 tsp (depends on how spicy u want)
4.haldi less than 1/4 tsp
5.salt (accordin to taste)
6.zeera powder 1/8 tsp
7.garam masala 1/4 tsp
8.dhaniya powder 1/2 -3/4 tsp (varies on how much u liek it)
9.lehsan 1 tsp
10.adrak 1 tsp
11.tomaotes (vine ripen tomatoes) about 3 (cut in half, then sliced 1/4 inch)
12.hara dhaniya less than 1/3 bunch (chopped_
13.oil 2 tbsp
14.water
15.lemon juice 1/2 - 1 tsp (varies)
16.hari mirchen, unseeded n cut into strips
method-

  1. in 1 tsp oil, add bakri ka ghost n fry it till its brown,
  2. In a bowl, mix the ingredients 1-10 into a paste an add to the meat
  3. add water and let it cook until the meat is almost cooked n until the masala is dried
  4. add 2tsp oil and fry the ghost with masala for 5 mins
  5. add chopped hara dhaniya n fry 5 more mins
    6.add sliced tomatoes n lemon juice n cook until the tomates r tender n the meat is cooked all the way
  6. after i turn off the heat, i sprinkle the hari mirchn

ready to serve

Your recipe calls for a total of 2 Tablespoons of cooking oil. You use one tblspn to fry gosht. Are you sure about this quantity?

Timatar ghost??? Spooky recipe. And whats this about bakri ka gosht? How do you tell the gender when its all cut up into little pieces beyond recognition? Will bakra work too? :p

FG, i get bakri ka ghost cuz i dont eat beef much… its goodstuff, but my WW points go up.. but any ghost will do, i was tryin to be specific :snooty:
yupp 2 tbsp oil… it works it works!!!
more oil, much bettter.. but ehh.. this works out too
