his performance in tests is very impressive with both ball and bat. He delivers whenever the team needs him to and he’s a proper batsman.
9 Tests - runs 318 - batting ave: 45.42 - HS 91 - 3x50s - wkts 37 - bowling ave: 23.89 - SR: 50.3 - 5wI x1
Bresnan though has played nearly all of his games in helpful conditions, (Australia and England) so far and it remains to be seen if he has the skill and guile to trouble good batsmen on the flat tracks of the sub-continent and UAE
Remember WC 2011 match against India (made 338), he was the best bowler for England with figures of 5/46
England have two very good all-rounders in Broad and Bresnan. Both could bat at number seven for England and have bowled immensely this series.
Re: Tim BRESNAN - one of the brightest starts to Test Cricket
He is a very good all rounder with a good future ahead i like his bowling more than batting
Too soon to say anything. Like you said he needs to perform on unsupporting pitches first.

I think a bowling all rounder is always better than batting all rounder.

i think so too ..... with his power he could extract some bounce on even unresponsive pitches but it remains to be seen how he deals with it on a long term basis ..... what is more important is that he is willing to dig in and fight it out whether he bats or bowls which is a good sign

I was impressed when razzaq hit him for few boundaries late in the innings @ lords last year. I thought he was unhitable.
