Re: Tikka , Jhummer, Nath for Bridals for 2012 bridals (HELP)
Funny thing is that I wanted the dupatta on my head! My hubby (then fiance) is the one who talked me out of it b/c he is not a fan of dupattas on head. And yes, my mother gave me a lot of grief for not wearing red during my reception (even though I wore it for my civil ceremony), and not wearing tikka for my civil ceremony (even though I wore it for my reception)!
Yet looking back…I have absolutely not regrets for the decisions I made. I loved the way I looked on my wedding day and so did my hubby. ![]()
Go try in some bridal jewelry sets and see if YOU like the way you look with everything on first.
Honestly, you will realize AFTER the wedding that spending so much energy worrying about the little things is not worth it.
Since you are free to choose what you will wear…focus on what YOU want. Of course, I would also take your fiance’s opinions into account since after all…I’m sure you want him to like the way you look on that day. As for everyone else…ignore their opinions. People will complain about your outfit, jewelry, makeup etc. no matter what you do…since everyone has their own taste. As long as you and your hubby are happy with how you look as bride…that’s all that matters. ![]()
