now..i have to think abt visa? is it very difficult to get visa for Pak? do they require like invitation letters?

No you don't need a letter, just your ticket all segments 'Fully Booked and confirmed'

but that is the problem..it is not direct..it is through Abu Dhabi...I did not find any direct flight on their site :(

Flights to india are always cheaper compared to pakistan, why is it so???

because more airlines serve India...almost all western airlines while, due to terrorism, i'm NOT aware that ANY western airlines go there. besides, 30% is added to ur fare which is Zardari's share...hahaha**

I don't think it's because of security issues, just that the Pakistan route is not as lucrative as India's. Most of the time it's just Pakistanis abroad that visit Pakistan (half of them rishta seeking people who are only visiting for the first or second time in their lives :p) and let's face it..we have no tourism to speak of.

and that would be due to terrorism...I have never been there...but from all the pics that I have seen..Pakistan could thrive on tourism one day if everything just calms down!!!!

u r FREE to believe whatever u like to believe but the fact remains that Pakistan is considered an unsafe place for western airlines and their crew members. Pak's reputation as a haven for terrorism is a fact u may deny. :)**

i agree...Pak has potential to be exploited but b4 that they've to bring in peace and security for its visitors. i go to India and i see sea of westerns walking safely on the streets of even small towns.**

lol I guess you're right. But what I meant was there haven't really been issues with airline crews or airplanes getting attacked here. and we do have western airlines serving pakistan...DHL! :p

oh common dude!!! you want an issue to occur and only then you will accept it? hehehehe…the reason there haven’t been any issues is coz they don’t fly there…or trust me it would present some wonderful opportunities for our “peaceful” terror loving friends :cb:
