true. i always fly with american american [AA] airlines via chicago and pay a lot less than i’d have paid from YYZ. last year i paid $935 dollars for YYZ-ORD-DEL and back, if i flew out of YYZ, i’d have paid $1700…huge difference.
i flew to Richmond, Virginia over the christmas for $185 from Buffalo but from YYZ it was $454…again a huge difference. so flying out of buffalo or thru a US gateway is much cheaper and better service as well. we have ORD-DEL non stop flights that takes 15 hours.**
