best fares are at AA [American Airlines and don't forget to include partner airlines] and Continental Airlines [don't forget to check flexibility by 1-3 days] both airlines have direct non stop from chicago [AA] and new york [CO] to delhi...continental also serves direct non stop to Bombay from NYC...and the fare is usally cheaper on continental especially to bombay

lucknow international airport to hai magar sirf nepal jaatii hai flights vahaN se...europe yaa north america yaa australia se koi direct flight nahiiN hai...lucknow se international flight sirf nepal hii jaatii hai...New Delhi is nearest airport to Lucknow where u can fly non-stop from Chicago and New York and Toronto. besides, if u fly from Delhi to Lucknow, it'll be waste of time and money and a lot of inconvenience. u 've to change airports which is a hassle in itself. thjen is the weight problem. From north america u can carry two pieces weighing upto 70 pounds each while the domestic flight in india allows only 20 kg. u've to pay extra which is quite a bit. airfares in india is quite expensive, especiallly for foreigners who have to pay much higher tariff. and then, since the flights aren't that frequent u may have to wait for several hours. why wait when u can catch one of the luxury trains fron Delhi and arrive into Lucknow within 5 hours. its cheaper, faster, more convenient and more comfortable...
...i wud ALWAYS prefer taking train instead of flying within India for destinations less than 5-7 hours away :)**
