It seems like this was more of an internal tussle. The health minister resigned, and he indirectly criticized Shahbaz Sharif by implying that SS was running after personal fame. According to him, "362 people died of dengue virus in Punjab in 2011 but no minister resigned.***
He further said that no minister claimed responsibility when more than 300 people died due to PIC medicine scandal and 192 children died of measles during current year.
Tahir Sindhu said that he was criticized for the death of only 10 persons due to dengue virus this year. He said that he has resigned from his posts but will remain a PML-N worker and continue work for the party."
