so which is it? arent these supposed to be "foreign fighters", "jihadists" on a mission to die in the battlefield? Arent they supposed to be veterans of the afghan war, core al qaeda foot soldiers who endured the sun of Afghanistan in frikkin caves, supposedly living for decades in absolute squalor in the name of their religion. Yet they find the 3 square meals a day and moderately uncomfortable chicken cages of gitmo unbearable? Isnt their object supposed to be the 70 virgins? If so why would they accept a death that automatically lands them in hell with no redemption?
If it is suicide then the baicharay who died in despair are not the battle hardy heaven seeking islamic warriors they were supposed to be. If it isnt suicide its murder.
"You retards" meant the people who had posted in this thread so stop twisting facts. In this thread one poster asked him whether he was ignorant or liar and that guppy replied back to him. If he had not replied or had made a complaint or the attack was general like yours when you don't agree with other guppies than I am sure the mods would have removed it. So grow up and move on.
Bush administration have been secretive about who the detainees are, their crimes and the conditions they’ve been kept in. This bewildering only make us believe that ‘illegal’ activities are taking place. U.S does have released over 300 people, which shows that these men are unlikely to be the threat that they were once delcared to be.
The reports of suicide, hunger strike and touture proves that Gunatanamo is more of a liability than help in ‘War on Terror’. We know how much Abu Garib have hurt the United States, Gitmo only adds to the problem and inspires terrorists, entire world community opposes Guantanomo including U.S close-ally Britain.
What could be the reason behind suicide? Why now? Did they leave a note? Was it in a protest? All unanswered questions that will never be answered.

A former detainee at the U.S. detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, says in a CNN interview it is very hard for inmates there to commit suicide.
The U.S. military says three terror suspects, two Saudis and one Yemeni, were found hanged in their cells at Guantanamo last weekend, apparently after committing suicide.
I can’t understand the fact that this happened because the blocks that we were on, every 30 seconds there would be a soldier walking past and you would be monitored constantly, Shafiq Rasul told CNN in Britain. … It might be suicide, it might be they were beaten, because I’ve seen people get beaten severely in Guantanamo, and I thought they died by the way that they were beaten by soldiers. So I don’t know.
The U.S. military and other former detainees confirm there have been dozens of suicide attempts by prisoners at Guantanamo.
Rasul, who was born in Britain of Pakistani parents, contends he was in Pakistan for a wedding when he was taken into custody by mistake after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks in the United States. He eventually spent two years in the Guantanamo facility.
He was freed after lawyers acting for him and other prisoners won a ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court saying Guantanamo prisoners had the right to have their cases reviewed by U.S. civilian courts.
