A stampede of hundreds of shoppers in western Saudi Arabia has left at least three people crushed to death.
The incident occurred after shoppers rushed into a branch of Ikea to claim a limited number of credit vouchers being offered to the public.
-A sad day for shoppers everywhere
Is it just me or do more fatal stampedes occur in Saudi Arabia than elsewhere?

At least we are getting better at stampedes.
Re: Three die in Saudi shop stampede
Because Ikea really isn’t offering credit vouchers?

Okay well one that's really hungry then.
Anyway this sort of thing never happens at the harrods sales even, MS is right I seem to remember this happening once before in the shopping mad kingdom.

agree, Sorry for the lost lives, but it seems like Saudi Govt need to establish anti stampede task force or public awareness porgram.

Well it would seem something like that would be in order, events like this are enough to turn the kingdom against ther swedes, this could be the onset of WW3
