Eh, the word people here being highly subjective.
And well it’s not about one person either, mentally retarded or otherwise. It’s about the rule of law. I suppose most people here won’t have any issue with gunning down a mob of 100 people if all of them were armed with explosive jackets and were ready to cause mass havoc by suicide bombing.
I abhor violence, and never for the life of me will condone it. But had they gunned all of them down, I’d most readily have filed the event under “Necessary Evil”. If these turds (this is the third time I’ve had to use this word) can get away with a murder like this in broad daylight, what’s stopping another small mob getting together and killing you or me, for any crime we did or did not commit?!
Heck, what’s stopping me from labeling you as blasphemer and hunting you down with a small mob. Or vice versa.
If it takes a thousand “meaningless” lives for people to stop this mentality of mob justice, I’m willing to kill two thousand myself. Because once this thing gets out of control there’s no stopping it. This is what, the tenth or so incident I’ve read in the past couple of years. But anyway, first we’ll need to tackle this law created by Mard-e-Mardood.
