Thousands rally in support of PM Gilani in Quetta

Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan are wasting their and public times on Gilani issue. These idiots don’t realize that next elections are not far away, instead of focusing on their agendas, better prepare for the elections, they as usual are beating about the bush. I don’t understand what they want to achieve by filing petition against speaker’s ruling on disqualification. Looks like CJ may be behind this nonsense. Imran Khan recently held so called successful jalsa in Quetta, seems to be an illusion of tunami in Baluchistan. Idiots.

**QUETTA: Thousands of PPP activists on Monday held a rally to express solidarity with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani condemning the announcement of PML-N and PTI to move Supreme Court for disqualification of the prime minister.

Leaders of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Balochistan ministers Mir Madad Ali Jatak and Jan Ali Changezi led the rally, which after marching on main thoroughfares of the provincial capital turned into a huge public gathering at Meezan Junction.

The participants, including PPP supporters, activists and leaders, were holding placards and banners inscribed with pro-democracy and pro-PM slogans.

The speakers said that the Pakistan Tahrik-i-Insaf (PTI) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have been hatching conspiracies against the democratic government since it came into power.

They alleged that the opposition never wanted democracy to flourish in Pakistan and created an environment of confrontation.

They supported the ruling of National Assembly Speaker Dr Fahmida Mirza in the case of prime minister’s disqualification, saying it was in accordance with the Constitution. “It is deplorable that Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan are misguiding the 180 million people of the country to get political mileage,” they added.

“We are the ones who initiated mega projects in Balochistan, granted huge share to the province in NFC Award and introduced Aghaze Haqooqe Balochistan package to resolve the grievances of the people.”

The 18th amendment was another achievement of the PPP-led coalition government, they stressed.

They noted that the PPP had struggled and sacrificed for the freedom of constitutional institutions and it would come in power in next election on the basis of relief it provided to the masses.

Re: Thousands rally in support of PM Gilani in Quetta

That's good, it seems the people of balochistan endorse the policy of abduction, kill and dump, lawlessness and misgovernance in the province then. They should vote ppp in the next elections as well for continuation of these policies.

Re: Thousands rally in support of PM Gilani in Quetta

Now Peer PM can say daikho may nay balochistan may rally nikali...koi law & order ka masla nahen hai...saab opposition ka jhoot hai.

Re: Thousands rally in support of PM Gilani in Quetta

People of Balochistan are much aware that what is being done with them . They knew who killed Bugti , Benazir , Bhutto and others . They can vote anyone but they will never vote the dirty puppets of establishment .

Re: Thousands rally in support of PM Gilani in Quetta

^^then they deserve bigger azzab then zardari's PPP...if there is any.

Re: Thousands rally in support of PM Gilani in Quetta

Are any of those issues connected with the PPP orwith the army?

Re: Thousands rally in support of PM Gilani in Quetta

Why? What this has to with procession?

Re: Thousands rally in support of PM Gilani in Quetta

They are connected with army. But people will not say the truth as PPP is escape goat here. What ever PPP is doing good for people, in their eyes it is always bad.

Re: Thousands rally in support of PM Gilani in Quetta

How PPP is involved? Are you serious? Baluchistan is still controlled by army, recently people have demanded that army should leave Baluchistan and hand over control to civilians.

Cease all military ops in Balochistan | The Nation

**After daylong speeches, the participants passed a 15-point declaration demanding that politics of garrison should be replaced by a purely civilian-led administration that genuinely represents the will of the people and all military and para-military operations should to be stopped forthwith and the army and frontier constabulary be called back to cantonment. **

Re: Thousands rally in support of PM Gilani in Quetta

Why do you think they voted for pmlq in the previous elections? Secondly in this elections the nationalists (both baloch and Pashtuns) didn't participate, once they do that ppp might get its 2-3 seats that it gets from balochistan.

Re: Thousands rally in support of PM Gilani in Quetta

This is a so called democracy in which people have voted some people in as representatives, if the military behaves extra constitutionally who will people ask from (the government or military)? Sadly the government does not care as long as they are getting their share in the plunder, what can you say the chief minister of the province visits Quetta for a day or two in a month. Shows seriousness on his part.
