Those who want to become leader of Pakistan

Every person doesn’t deserve leadership. It is evident from the past examples of successful leaders that only those people have proved themselves good leaders who are “wishing” to punish themselves but provide comfort to common people. Even his worst enemy in the nation is more beloved to him than himself unless that person violates any law of the nation. His children and family have no value in his eyes compared to maintenance of JUSTICE in every department of life.

May Allah (swt) bless this nation with leaders like Hazrat Umar (r.a) Hazrat Ali (r.a) Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz,…etc. who made their own lives the most difficult to make comfortable the life of every single person in their nation. Once Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz (r.a) when entered home, saw his daughters placing hands on their mouth. When he asked the reason, their mother started crying and said,“They have been eating onion for the last three days because we don’t have enough money to buy food” Hazrat Umar who himself had also not eaten anything for a long time because of serving people, started crying and said, " My dear daughters, forgive your father who is very coward, he is afraid because he can’t bear the punishment of Allah (swt), please be patient and a day would come insha’Allah when Allah (swt) would reward you for your patience and sacrifice for the nation."

Re: Those who want to become leader of Pakistan

I feel I can do a much better job leading Pakistan than anyone who has led Pakistan in the past. Really, not kidding. I would have amongst other things, made all parts of the country feel respected, made peace with neighbors, kept military and clerics in its correct place, focussed on economic and social development through long term planning, agriculture and select industrial development through short and mid-range planning. I'd also (probably) been an intense participant in the NAM and used that other regional fora to curtail influence of Russia, China and America in the region. I would have developed strong institutionalized ties with the middle east and would have garnered more that 50% of labor and construction markets there. I'd also have made Pakistan the preferred destination of tourists from all of middle-east with an overwhleming 75% share and some significant portion of tourists fom China and India. I would have created a Tiger consortium with Malaysia, Singapore, perhaps Turkey amd started defining a new network.

I have not heard ONE, NON ONE, leader of Pakistan talk about any of these. That is why these guys are useless and the country is hopeless.

Good question

Leaders are not born out of thin air, They are a reflection of the prevailing moral , ethical, social standards in the society. Sane & sincere leadership will not emerge unless there is a change in the prevailing values & ethical & moral standards. However, I fully understand the problem with my own reasoning....
How will there be an uplifting in themoral standards in the society? unless some influential charismatic leaders emerge that will inspire people to strive for higher ideals ? But I am just loosing hope whether it will happen and if it will then how?
