Re: those who bake pizza at home

brush 1 tbs of olive oil on the base before topping your pizza with cheese etc, it will keep the crust soft.

Re: those who bake pizza at home

thanks hareem...wil definitely try tht...my pizza was soft without tht though..but im sure it will add more taste to it...

Re: those who bake pizza at home

hareem only corners mid of the crust was soft..so i oil only corners????

Re: those who bake pizza at home

no suhaina...try oiling the entire thing..im sure it will add more taste to it

Re: those who bake pizza at home

I use it everywhere on the base, if you feel you can use more on the edges. I also add some plain yoghurt in pizza dough and that might be a reason for keeping it soft.

Re: those who bake pizza at home

i add buttter and milk (no water)..and otehr stuff
and its soft

Re: those who bake pizza at home

and how about the chesee problem

Re: those who bake pizza at home

For your second problem, let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing. It helps set the cheese. If sliced piping hot, the toppings and cheese tend to come off.

Re: those who bake pizza at home

suhaina try using less cheese?

Re: those who bake pizza at home

hmmm i,ll try ..or did i put so much sause???here i m mistaking???

Re: those who bake pizza at home

How much sauce are you using?
And I agree with Seabee, that you should wait until the pizza has cooled before you cut it. Also, once the pizza is out of the oven, try and keep it covered with another pizza pan. This will prevent the crust from getting hard.

And a hard crust problem can always be solved by dipping it in coke :p

Re: those who bake pizza at home

ditto
