Those people who indulge in Black magic...

What Islam says about those people who indulge in black magic or any such activities? What is the fate of such people?

Re: Those people who indulge in Black magic...

Waisay toh I don't know much but I was listening to this Sheikhs lecture in which he said that there was a woman who used to do Kala Jadoo which is kind of a contract with the Jinn in which the Jinn does whatever that woman (or whoever controls it) tells him to do and he does it but in return even he i.e. the Jinn asks that person to do stuff that he/she tells him/her to do as well and in this case he told the woman to urine (Astagfirullah) on the Quran every day at least once and she used to do it...so when she died the people tried to bury her but her corpse wasn't accepted by the grave the people put her inside and it threw her out again...so they some how managed to put her inside and put a huge stone on her and as they turned their backs there was a blast inside the grave and it opened and the corpse was on fire.
And I have also heard people say that the Kala jaadoo doers face changes (they look really ugly or something like that). And obviously they will burn in hell.

Baki the people who really know would tell you in a better way.

Re: Those people who indulge in Black magic...

Peace Pinky,

Black Magic is a kind of Shirk. No black magic practiced without the help of devil (Shaitaan), as Allah SWT mentioned in Surah Baqarah verses 102. I will quote some hadith in this regard.

Book 'Wills and Testaments (Wasaayaa)' of Sahih Bukhari Haidth No. 28

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Avoid the seven great destructive sins." The people enquire, "O Allah's Apostle! What are they? "He said, "To join others in worship along with Allah, to practice sorcery, to kill the life which Allah has forbidden except for a just cause, (according to Islamic law), to eat up Riba (usury), to eat up an orphan's wealth, to give back to the enemy and fleeing from the battlefield at the time of fighting, and to accuse, chaste women, who never even think of anything touching chastity and are good believers.

Book 'Blood-Money' of Malik's Muwatta Hadith No. 43.19.14

Yahya related to me from Malik from Muhammad ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Sad ibn Zurara that he had heard that Hafsa, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, killed one of her slave-girls who had used sorcery against her. She was a mudabbara. Hafsa gave the order, and she was killed. Malik said, "The sorcerer is the one who uses sorcery for himself and no one else uses that for him. It is like the one about whom Allah, the Blessed, the Exalted, said in His Book, 'They know the one who devotes himself to it will have no share in the Next World.' (Sura 2 ayat 102) I think that that person is killed if he does that himself."

Book 'The Book of Faith (Kitab Al-Iman)' of Sahih Muslim Hadith No. 0161

It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) observed: Avoid the seven noxious things. It was said (by the hearers): What are they, Messenger of Allah? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: Associating anything with Allah, magic, killing of one whom God has declared inviolate without a just cause, consuming the property of an orphan, and consuming of usury, turning back when the army advances, and slandering chaste women who are believers, but unwary.

Re: Those people who indulge in Black magic...

jokes on you folks if you feel magic is real. lol.

if it was real, then the practicioners would be rich already. there is no proof of this magic. it doesn't exist. it just DOESNT exist.

Re: Those people who indulge in Black magic...

Yes, it's. It's even mentioned in Holy Quran.

Re: Those people who indulge in Black magic...

I have no doubt of that at all, it was clearly being practised at the time of the Prophet (pbuh). What if everyone who knew how to practice it has now been killed off? In both Muslim and Christian lands, for a period of over 1000 years, the governments have been executing anyone known to practice magic.

The Christian world only stopped executing executing magic practitioners in the 1700s, it went on until more recently in the Muslim world, often on dubious evidence.

I find it hard to believe that the practise of black magic could continue for so long under the noses of so many governments that tried to stamp it out for so long.
