Those Commodore64 games...

Anyone remember them? Some of these games were probably released years before some Guppies around here were born  But was feeling in a nostalgic mood… anyone remember these Commodore 64 ones - some of them were my favourites:

Miner
Rygar
Chopper
Skiier
Koala Painter
Dancing Monster
Bushido - LOVED this one!
Donkey Kong
Green Beret
Winter Games
PitStop

yes i'm bored:~p Two more i just remembered:
Frogger
Buck Rogers

wow nadia aunty how old are you?

i remember i used to play commodore long time ago...but i dont even know how it looks so forget the name of the games :)

Some of my friends had the Commodore 64 which was pretty good at the time. Early 80's... I do remember playing some of the games you mentioned above. My favourite style games were Pacman, Asteroids and Donkey Kong. :)

lolz @ Aunty... :D

i was born in 1980, so i'm 22 :)

You don't remember how it looks? oh:~( It had those huge floppy disks that you inserted in order to upload the games... sometimes you had to manually type in the program codes i think with the keyboard. Does anyone even remember the earliest years when they had games on cassettes and there was an actual tape-player, which you had to rewind or forward to a particular spot? What about the joystick games? This was all while i was residing in the UAE, so not certain whether they had different 'systems' or consoles from the rest of the world.. i doubt it.

Another game i just remembered: Mikey, who was a student at a school. This was played with a joystick if i remember correctly.

wow a fellow Commodore 64 comrade:~) Pacman - yes of course how could i forget this one! Must have played it a thousand times. Do you remember any others, DhP?

u know u didnt even wish me happy birthday..khair koi baat nahi

i just remember..after commodore i started to play atari

my dad promised me if i study for an hour daily he would get me atari..well i didnt study for an hour but he got it anyway lol

nadia, I also played some adventure style games on the COMM64 but its been such a long time cant remember what they were called. I think the predecesser to the Comm 64 was the VIC20.. That brings back memories of the first home PC I had. It was the Sinclair ZX81 which had 16K Ram.. compare that to todays PC's..hehe. Than I bought the BBC Microcomputer with games like Snapper, Planetoids, Starfighter, Sphinx Adventure (really cool game), Colditz Adventure many others.. I think ive still got this boxed up in storage.. in those days they used audio tapes to store the games :)

Oh, I remember all those games. I had them on my Apple IIe back in 1983. I had returned my commodore for the Apple. Those games are just awesome. Nowdays, I still play them occasionally on my Apple emulator for my PC. They're extremely fun to play.
