Think of this world like the movie..."matrix"....we are all sleeping in our pods...and aren't fully awake..the world we live in isn't real...its more of a dream world...and the day we all do awaken...May Allah (swt)..show us His mercy...because we will need it!!!!
I don't know what my religion tells me of this world and the hereafter(which is after the death of body) except that there is this 'World' where we're gonna live for a limited time with some physical limitations and then there's that 'World' which is forever and we're gonna be free there, and also there's another 'World' between these two Worlds.
Now which one is real?
The world after this world, that is real and ever-lasting.(Aalim-e-barzakh, if ur lucky enough to reach it and the life after judgement day)

Dreams can give hints.They can have many meanings.
Dreams and visions are very different. normal people,if blessed, can see visions.
Visions can be about anything...from showing future to giving answers about present and past etc.
My problem is that I've had some pleasant and peaceful experiences in dreams and now I can't find that peace here in this world so I'm looking for some legal ways to have those dreams(or being in that world) more often and aslo have control over my dreams.
I know this sounds crazy.
You cannot have control over dreams, but according to what u have typed, u r showing signs of spirituality.
u cant find peace in this world now, becoz firstly this world isnt a peaceful place, its an examination centre with time limit and also becoz, those who "see" ALLAH's colours will not get peace elsewhere.

Different Roohani silsilas have different ways/traditions/methods. Apart from subcontinent silsilas, there are also roohani silsilas in Egypt,Turkey,Libya etc. In some silsilas there are wirds, in some there are qawwalis, in some there are chillas too etc. But all are different in some way or another.
The reason i told u about baith was because u need a spiritual guide who can groom u and also take u towards higher levels of spirituality.
If u examine closely, its ur heart which wants to come to ALLAH now and thats why you dont feel peace anywhere else. Heart is driven by ishq. Had it been your brain,you wouldnt have felt the same, because we already know sawab/benefit from namaz and recitation of Koran yet even then we are not motivated for it.but when its about heart, we offer namaz and recite Koran because we get inner peace through it and sawab thing becomes secondary for us then.
satan can conquer the mind of the person by thoughts, putting in thoughts of doubts, changing thoughts towards comfort , nafs etc, but it cannot capture the heart of a person.
Since, the situation ur facing is about grooming ur spirit in the right direction, you may not take baith in a spiritual silsila, but u may explore it for getting "faiz" from it. The head person of that silsila may act as ur mentor only for guiding ur spirit in the right direction with or without transferring his own capabilities inside you as u maynot be baith with him.
Guiding spirit is important, so that before a person becomes majzoob or diwana, he is controlled in a specific way, for ALLAH's words are very very strong and effective, sometimes even hearing Ya-ALLAH from someone will make hearts of some aashiq's of ALLAH beat faster and faster and they go in majzoob state.

I think Quran and salah keep me sane so I don’t think I’ll become insane or majzoob by hearing Allah’s name. Also, I’m too worldly to become a majzoob and also I believe there’s no tariqa without shariah.

Heart is satisfied by ishq and burnt by it too, when ishq for ALLAh becomes stronger than anything, then ishq becomes ibadat itself. rest is upto u.
