That is how duppatta is usually worn by brides at any of their events ~ engagement, shaadi, Valima.
i think this style is the usuall and you can see the hair is not lifted at the crown.

the way, MUAs mostly set dupattas on high updos until the bride insists that she doesn't want one. Even the hairdos that seem flat ave some kind of back-combing and poofing to set the dupatta.
