Unless the wives are excellent at disguising their true personalities, most husbands would know if they are talking to their own wives.
This reminds me of an old episode of Saved by the Bell where Zack Morris’ girlfriend tries to seduce him wearing glasses, a blonde wig and trench coat; he refuses her advances saying he has a girlfriend and in the end reveals that he knew all along it was her. Sure it was comedy but it shows that this is not a rarity and there are women who use tactics such as this.
