KKf’s answer seems most appropriate. However these are things for you to check. Is there an expiry date on the packaging (bottle/case/jar etc)? Also what size are they? To be perfectly honest, no one can say for sure unless you share a photo of the items.
In general I think you should be thankful for what they gave you. they are not obligated in anyway to bring you gifts. I wonder how old you are and if you realize how hard it is to carry things these days in international travel. There are luggage limits and any thing even 1 lb over is charged by all airlines. Only business class travelers get some extra baggage allowance. Rest of the crowd has to stick with the bare minimum.
