for some reason i fell in love with this outft/entire look. i dont care who it is or whatever, but im toying with the idea of getting this outfit but as a saree. The blouse looks like jamavar (or benarsi??) to me, while the rest is chiffon/georgette. Do you guys think it would work? Should I keep it this color? or go for it in a off white with golden and green kaam (keeping in mind i already have 3 variations of whtie sarees )??? I dont know how much it’ll cost , so maybe i should wait to post this before i think of it and fall in love more only to be disappointd cz its way too spensive, so uh yeah, your opinionz???
Oh yah PS if anyone has a link to this album or any more pics of this dress, i’d really appreciate it!!! Shukriya!
pretty lehnga and sara this color would be a great choice for a saree, dtn do cream/white color it would be tooo light. i think it would definitly work with the jamawar/banarsi blouse and the rest with chiffon/gorgette.
so white and gold is a no no eh? i was also thinking of a tea pink/light mauve but i have way too much of pink already and i thnk veryone will kill me if i do so! Btw, does anyone know if this is a designer dress (hsy, karma etc) or a copy of one?
keep the sari in the same colour OR white and gold would look gorgeous too. i've seen a few outfits in that colour combo and they were done very tastefully.
the blouse looks like jamavar. would look great for a sari.
Keep this color and the blouse does look Jamavar to me. Chiffon is very in these days in Pakistan. You can get a replica made. Even if this is desinger one you don't have to get the original. You can probably get it made in $100 or less esp if you substituire Chiffon for gerogette.
I'd make a jamavar blouse and have work on the gala and sleeves.. and a chiffon sari with kaam on the borders and sprinkles all over instead of a heavy pallu. I love the color..it wud also look pretty in a lavender, pea-green or mint =)
