Its kinda like how the Sheriff of Nottingham hates Robin Hood. Only difference is Edhi doesnt have to steal to give to the poor.
Another reason why he attracts much flak from the conservative masses is that hes set up cradles around the city so that the motherfcukin idiots who give birth to chidren out of wedlock (rape, prostitution etc) don’t dump those newborns in garbage bins to die, instead leave them in the cradles so the Edhi foundation can adopt them and raise them and give them a life they wouldnt otherwise get. Some people say this promotes illegitimate childbirth because then people can abandon their kids without facing the guilt of having their child die. I dont agree with this idea because what people do to give birth to illegitimate children is their responsibility and Allah will deal with them accordingly. What Edhi is doing is saving countless lives by the day and there is absofkinglutely nothing wrong with saving a poor childs life. He who saves one life, has saved mankind.
As for the people who call him athiest and/or agnostic how about some proof here?
Lets also not overlook the fact that this guy has also benefited monetarily from this as well…
He has offices in NY and one of his son is running the show and he has all his family members working in this family enterprise…Much in the mold of memon’s running masjid as business enterprises, Edhi has done the same…Plus his political partiality, lending his organization’s helicopters to Benazir for her personal/campaign usage would continue to cast a doubt on his agenda and ulterior motives…
Its perfectly alright to make statement for a person if he or she will go to heaven. Its like wishing for that person or praying for that person. Someone has a concrete thinking calling that statement stupid or even wants that statement withdrawn.
his work and dedication to it speaks for itself. rewards in this life and afterlife should not be discussed here. keep everything limited to his great work. whether he is muslim or not doesn't matter aswell. he is helping evewryone alike. in his heart, all are human beings, above & beyond the lines of religion, color, cast and nationality.

why don't you people help him by collecting funds for his organisation istead of just saying he will go to heaven and other things
to be frank i never heard his name may be because i'm not pakistani, it is fault of media which will not highlight great people's work and help him and his organisation
though he didn't need any publicity , but only by international recognition which brings funds for him, he may do much better then what he is doing today
