I was going through some old news/article clippings and came across this image from 2005, thought to scan it and share but found it on the Dawn website archives.
Doesn’t he look convincing!? Especially the doll in his hand and being barefoot are interesting effects.
Good genie
Koocha-e-Saqafat (culture corner) is organized every Sunday evening at Karachi on one of the busiest and most commercial roads blocking it for traffic till midnight. It’s been going quite popular and is a celebrated weekly event focusing on Pakistani culture, it’s a good trip down history and heritage and creates a festive air at the venue under the tents and decor, with no noise/traffic creating a cosy corner in downtown.
btw, while we’re at it, has anyone seen a jinn, if not a real one, a one as convincing as this somewhere :aq:
No but well I don't know if I really REALLY saw one but in my basement I don't like to go down there but this one time I had to and I think I saw a jinn. I don't know what jinns look like or anything but I saw something move from the corner of my eye. And then I told our local Imam about it and he's a pretty liberal Muslim if ya ask me and he didn't believe me! He kept asking questions pretending like he was serious, and really I think he was just being sarcastic! And he said that we're not supposed to be scared of jinns but only Allah Mian.
oh btw that miniature baby-thing that genie is holding in his hands looks sooo cute hehe =)
...And here i clicked on this post thinking you actually saw a real jinn, i was so excited since i am reading lots of stuff about them and i feel so scared at night but oh well
The dua for entering Lavatory Allahum inni aoudhu bikaa min al khubuthe wal khabaaith translates to Oh Allah! save me from bad (male jins) and bad (female jins)
guess they are in your house regardless you are alone or not :P
