I read that some students at Yale (a very prestigious institution in the US) are producing a Porn Movie (Staxx), which will be filmed at the Campus, and all the stars in the movie will be Yale students. The group that is making the movie belongs to the club “Chicken N Porn” – where the members of that group watch porn videos and eat friend chicken.
Yale has always been a place where individualism has been a supreme factor in teaching, and where free speech is encouraged and is held in high esteem. One of the best books that I have read in my life is “God and Man at Yale – William Buckley”. Although, I don’t like Buckley that much. I appreciate his intellect.
The student group that is making this movie says that it is time to look at sexuality in a rational and intellectual way. I don’t know what to make of this. As much as I appreciate the notion of individual and group liberties, and their need to express their inner feelings (sexual and other) alongwith their criticism of the ordinary, I also feel that it is my right to abstain.
I think this is “cultural” and therefore I would like to discuss it here, and may be Waqas72 can shed some light on this topic, since he has been asking me so many questions.
