This is what happened at Walmart today!!..So they had this sale on electronics…that Looked pretty reasonable…So i thought lets see what was going on in there…It was supposed to be a sale form 5-11 am…
I reached there at 430 am…To my surprise there was already a line of 500 people standing in there…some one there form 300 am…So i had thought that lets just see what’s going on there..if there is something good i would buy from there…
So i got into the line…later i heard that they are selling HP Pavillion laptop at 378$$(down from 690$ something)…I thought i would buy this one…
Khair as soon as it hit 5 am …the 500 ppl queue broke down & people ran from the back to the front gushing into a small single door…khair somehow i too entered into the shop without breaking my back…
As soon as i entered the shop…ppl ran towards a counter where they were giving tickets for the laptop…i ran there…waving my hand towards …that i want a laptop ticket too…People were jumping over each other to get that laptop…But within 10 seconds all laptops were gone…as they had only 10 laptops for 500 people…People started cursing & fightin with the staff…as they were standing there since 3am…this was the first time that i saw this kind of “badtameezi” at a shop…
Anyways i went towards the DVD/CD player(68$),…& that was gone too…
so i bend my head down & returned back empty handed…

oh my...i willl NEVER EVER go that early for anything. I know this happens every year...u never get those sale items...i luckily got a leather jacket once:) i didnt even go to get it, a friend of mine bought it for me when she went to get one for herslef:)

Daisy i didn't save anything from there .....but when i got out of there...i saw a small line outside another store(Staples) which was going to open at 6 am...so i joined that line & bought a PDA from there...i saved 125 $$ from them...
I agree that all in all it was a bad decision to go that early in the morning but it was interesting & worth it at the end...
I should have gone to these stores at 5:45 am at the earliest...but i guess i am more experienced now...
Lastly...it was 22 F (-8 C)with a wind chill of 10F(-14 C) in the morning....

Sounds like the old days of Cabbage Patch Dolls. I think people were fighting eachother to buy dolls for Christmas. "Tis the Season to be jolly...falalalala lalalala."

...and as for getting to wal-mart that time in the morning, it beggers belief what some people will do.
But hey look on the bright side, ya not japanese. :D
