guys why do we want to paint others with a broad brush when we dont like it when its done to us? you cant make it a race or a nationality issue. The pictures show a very wrong thing going on, no doubt about it. But can we really blame an entire nation or race for it? you can blame the govt, the policy makers and the military leaders, and while there may be avg joes who are happy to see this type of stuff being done, I certainly doubt that is a majority by any means

you are really naive. Where do their governments come from ? Where do their
policy makers and leaders come from ??? of course they are not from Pakistan,
they are elected by their people "democratically" !!! Why do they like to talk evilly
and to commit crimes like prisoner abuse ? because their people like it and thus
elect such kind of inhumane people as their leaders !

Even a normal people can feel the prejudice and discrimination of the white race
towards other races but you can not ?
I suggest you learn a little bit history about the Africa, about the aboriginal Indians in the america continent, about the crusades....

Despite the first pictures of Abu Ghraib being released in early 2004, the majority of the American people still re-elcted George W Bush for a second term. A great deal of American people either don't want to even address these crimes, make excuses for them, or simply support them.

Old news, quite horrible and that doesn’t change. And it’s the same group of people from the photos we saw a couple of years ago. Shall we bring up the posts of the burned bodies that were hung from the telephone wires? How about the ones from Somalia dragging troops behind jeeps? How about one of a Pakistani woman with her face burned from acid thown on by her husband? The list goes on and on.

It is not the ugliness of the crimes that is sickening…Heinous crimes are committed everywhere…

It is the pretext upon which these crimes were committed…Liberty, freedom and a better life…And once this blew open (One instance captured, fortunately on camera) it really begged the questions…What is the motive behind such actions? How much is this going on? Can such brutality really exist in those that came as deliverers? How much is going on behind the cameras?

In the end, you are right…It’s old news, quite horrible and all that…We should come to terms and realize this is the way Americans and British will behave anywhere they are put in a place of authority…

It is well known abuses are going on daily we can only imagine the horrors going on in Iraq because all the abuses and bruatality is not filmed or captured on camera and if this is the peversion and standard of the amerikan army then no wonder the Iraqi resistance is getting stronger by the day!
