CJ of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudry 2 years ago banned Basant in whole Pakistan . CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif dismissed 4 SHOs of Lahore because in thier areas some people were flying kites. Thanks to Salman Taseer who lift this ban 15 days ago

it was ban 3 months ago , mostly in Lahore Basant celebrated in mid Feburary but it was ban at that time , nobody came to street !

Because Salman taseer want to divert attention of Lahore Long March of 15th March so he opened ban for the same night and announced Basant on 15th March
But honestly , even 10% people not celebrated it as compare to past . At night when my locality is full of lights , fireworks , there was nothing this time
