this is how you preach…friendly, logical, presentable…unlike idiots that we have in our mosques.
In my whole life i dont recall one molvi telling us why pork is so bad in such logical and informative way

Re: this is how you preach....
Since no momineen have taken you up on such slander against the ulema, let me give you the standard answer. You need to find "real ulema." The "proper knowledgeable" kind. It's too bad that no one knows where they are, why there are so few and why they are so hard to find.
Re: this is how you preach....
Anyway these kind of TV preachers are not necessarily very spiritual. Big money big business.

Peace pheonixdesi
This Christian preacher is preaching a message in line with the Old Testament and against what Paul (Master of the New Testament) brought … Paul allowed people to eat pork and the men to remain uncircumcised.
He also says that the cow has three stomachs - NO … The cow has four stomachs … He is not a real scholar - he is a show man.
Now in line with what chacha_Ghalib writes … yes … you simply have not heard the proper scholars …
Listen to this video from beginning to end if you have the time that is … and if you don’t have time watch the second video clip … now these two are real Islamic scholars … May Allah (SWT) preserve them.

There are plenty of such scholars but you dont recognise them as your yard stick is flawed. :)
Re: this is how you preach....
I liked the video by abdul hakim murad posted by psyah. explanation given could be a standard answer to any question of halal or haram but if we know more then it only become easy to communicate with those who listen to reason but are not muslims.
Here is an explanation of prohibition of swine flesh:
"One matter to be kept in mind in this context is that in the very name of this animal, God has indicated the reason for the prohibition of its flesh. The Arabic word for swine is Khinzir which is a compound of Khanz and Ara, which means: I see it very foul. Thus the very name that God Almighty gave to this animal at the beginning points to its
uncleanness. It is a curious coincidence that in Hindi this animal is called Su’ar, which is a compound of Su’ and Ara. This also means: I see it very foul.........
It is not necessary to enter into a detailed exposition of the foulness of this animal. Everyone knows that it eats filth ..... Thus the reason for the prohibition of its flesh is obvious, as by the law of nature its flesh would have a foul effect on the body and the soul of one who eats it. ....."

Best is for you to leave your village and wilderness. Enter the garden of knowledge where beautiful flowers bloom.
P.S. Keep away from the weeds – They too try to ‘reside’ in these gardens.
