It converts sugar into cotton like texture which kid love to eat. As the poster above pointed out is known as cotton candy.
P.S Ramsha said some adults love it too so yes some adults love it too. When I buy it for my daughter in a carnival or at the store , my wife wants me to boy one for her , so yes she is right.
