Few days back when the sad incident of Airblue accident happened there was so much debate about improving survellence and buying better communication gadgets .. but how much is being dome to mimprove fitness of buses and their drivers that are killing thousands and thousands each year.. poor peopel are let at the mercy of killers who for their profit dont care about condition of buses and mental level of the drivers who are mostly on drugs..
Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) – At least 50 people were feared dead after a bus plunged into a river in northern Pakistan Thursday, state-run media said.
The bus was bound for Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistani-controlled Kashmir, and was just a few miles from its destination when the driver lost control, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Imtiaz told the Associated Press of Pakistan.
Witnesses told the APP that the bus was overcrowded and some people were riding on the roof.
Imtiaz said rescue teams and ambulances were dispatched to the scene and that at least 12 bodies have been recovered from the gushing river.
