Never mind these local T20 tournaments are not much worth anyways. Look what happended today to the team which according to the experts was supposed to get the maximum benfit in the T20 World Cup because of IPL.
Re: This is Amazing!!!

Re: This is Amazing!!!

its basically a matter of talent.
I guess you are right :)
Re: This is Amazing!!!
no need to gloat here
The way the irish fought against SL can also cause real headache For Pakistan
So calm down and rather direct ur prayers for a Pakistan SF berth :)
Re: This is Amazing!!!
LOL..... LOL ...... LOL ..... i woudnt have been any happier if Pak won this T20 worldcup,
Am thinking abt joining some Sidebottom fan's club.
And how come i dont see any indians arnd who were proud of their team ?
Re: This is Amazing!!!
It's not the time to gloat. We have won and lost the same number of games as India (2/2), but India is knocked out, and we have a pretty good chance to make it to semis. It's because India is in a tougher group. They were off their game the last couple of matches, but they're still a pretty good team. Pakistan, still has batting to worry about, and Ireland is not an easy team to play against.
There's a possibility Pakistan could lose against Ireland tomorrow and still make it to the next round, while India could win their next game yet have no chance of going forward.
Re: This is Amazing!!!
^ it is not gloating, but a reply to the gloating of the Indian fans here, the Indian team, Indian media and the whole Indian nation who thought the cup was theirs and it was a formality of going through the motion as no one could beat them. I was personally outraged at the behaviour of Indian fans in London, the way they were chanting anti Pak slogans even when Pak was not involved in a match with their team. serves them right.
The arrogance came down to the earth with a bump.
Some1 excepted.
Re: This is Amazing!!!
It was funny how the indian fans were focused on their South Africa game. They thought they would go untouched by Windies and England! This is not IPL, this is the real world stage and Indians FLOPPED!
Re: This is Amazing!!!
If you are not winning the Cup, its same to bow out of Super 8 or losing in the finals.......
Re: This is Amazing!!!
^ Why bowing at the border of super 8? why not bowed at Delhi airport prior to come to England?
Re: This is Amazing!!!
^ Lol! Actually angoor khattey hain !!! hehe If they had lost the finals, they wouldn't compare it with super 8 loss. Then it would be " At least we managed to get to 2nd position. Only one team played better than us" :)
There can't be a more pleasing site than a "Ghuroor" disgraced.
Btw, can anyone please post highlights here as soon as possible. I desperately want to watch few faces.
Re: This is Amazing!!!
^ you wanna watch those faces, ewwwwwwww
BTW have you read my Ghazal for them posted in this section ? ![]()

Let me put another Indian's perspective. Most of my Indian friends were sure that we will not win this cup, but we still support the team, because we love it. I know this might surprise many pakistanis, but that is the truth. Personally I thought the way Indians played, there is no shame in losing, because there was a fight. India lost the match when suresh raina and ravindra jadeja were sent ahead of Yuvraj and Yusuf. Most of your perception is based on what you have seen of Indian supporters in London and what you have seen in the British media, but things are different in Indian media.
To be fair, this time the Indian media was not in good terms with the team. I have been following many of the news channels and papers where Dhoni was criticised (obviously because of the tiff with the media). I watched discussion programs on NDTV where in the guests (Ajay jadeja) said that Indian team is the most stressed / watched / discussed team in the world. ICC's behaviour with Indian team puts more pressure (eg scheduling matches with breaks and best slots).
I am relieved that India is out of the tournament, because if India had somehow managed to win, this match and ultimately the cup, then everything seems very unfair, that the best side in the tournament like South Africa missing out.

Had India won, no Indian would have said what you are saying, because they would be busy celebrating on moon. In most of the world cups South African team starts as the best team, so does that mean it was always unfair with them to lose. How many Indians (including you) were upset when South Africa lost in 2007 T20 to India, because certainly they seemed a better team and more deserving of the cup.
May be you should have hoped that India reaches finals and then lose to South Africa because being the second best team, it is unfair that they miss out the final with South Africa. India may have lost the final to the best side so that everything seems fair to us.
So much for being an Indian and relieved at the loss of India.
