^ It's not about India losing or Pak winning, it is about attiudes and arrogance displayed and what BCCI has been doing in the last few months to ruin Pak cricket.
Pak team has already done more than what most of us expected and anything from hereon is a bonus and India fell well short of what was expected of it. That is the crux.
I am very aware of the indian media's often exaggerated and unnecessary publicity of their players, the kind of hype you see in British tabloids. The media w'd make gods and monkeys out of the same players within the space of a few months!! The BCCI's recent attitude and political interference almost isolating Pakistan internationally also leaves a lot to be desired.
And it is a fact that the indian media is more Pak-centric than the other way around. Just browse any of their websites; hindustan times, times of india etc. - any news pertaining to the 'dreaded' ISI makes front page headlines...
No one was expecting great things from this team for a number of reasons - selection errors (no Imran Nazir; Asif's unavailability; Yousuf and Razzaq's ineligibility & Akhtar's usu. shenanigans); team's recent indifferent form and lack of international cricket - but it is also a fact that if we do progress to the semis today we w'd have done so despite winning against only one established team (NZ)
