This craft skims above the surface in what is called ground effect, that needs less power compared to an airplane that climbs to higher altitude in order to get above any obstacles that may be in the way.
It seems fine for the purpose it was designed, as a patrol boat and a missile laucher.
Read about this technology in Popular Science a few years ago.
Good to see someone making use of it.

Russians built something like this during the 60s.

the chances to get the target by the russian made armour is 50% eg. mig airplanes.
