Winning & losing a match doesnt always say anything and yes I know Once Loyd said " there is no such thing like gracious loser.A loser is a loser".
But beleive me when you are down and everyone is writing you off and then you comeback and play they way pakistanis have played in last 2 months means a lot. Barring one bad match against SL in Asia cup this team has been playing great. 2 comprehensive win against Arch rivals Indians and then 2 close matches against worlds best team. These 2 matches could have gone either way. If your team is 4/65 against world champion and from their they comeback to almost win a match then you know there is something good in this team.AUS are ruthless they would kill thematch moment you are 65/4.
Pakistan is a coming back. This is one great team. They are playing like a team. No one accuses other player for any loss. Razzaq &
Shoib give balance to the team .No other team enjoys the luxury of 2 very good all rounders. Afridi may be stupid with his shots but he is good enough to play in Pakistani team just as a bowler. He is definitly finest Pakistani spinner in ODI.
Kudos to Babloo & pakistani team. We may be on verge of returning to early 1990 days of Pakistan cricket as far as One dayers are concerned.
this team really has played some good cricket in last few months and I’m very hopeful that this unit will be a very fighting one (even more than today). Upcoming ICCCT will be exciting.
InshAllah... I agree with you... I did not take the last 2 games as a total loss. To me we won both games in flying colors. I have no regrets what so ever...
Agreed F&B. Woolmer has done wonders for Team Pakistan. this is a strong unit right now. The one kink could be the injury to Shabbir. With Gul already out, I don't feel comfortable with Rana playing. I woudl prefer to have Iftikhar Rao, Khalil or Rauf recalled. The third speacilist bowler is crucial for us because then we can maintane pressure at the change. Razzaq and Malik are the keys. If they do there job well, we will win a lot of ODI's.
RSA: kallis, klusener, pollock, boje
AUS: symonds, lehman, harvey, watson
IND: tendulkar, sehwag, ganguly, agarkar, yuvraj
WI: gayle, powell, sarwan (he has become a good allrounder lately)
ENG: flintoff, giles
NZ: carins, harris, styris
SL: jaysuria, samaraweera, chandana, dilshan, dharmasena

Do as dumb arguement as you wana gove to prove me wrong. But Tell me how many of these players can play either as batsmen or bowler in their team.
SA: Only kallis.. It has been a while that Klusener ,Pollock or Boje have played an inning that can prove their worth as batsmen in thier team.
AUS: Only symonds.. Watson & Harvey are not even regular in team. And in howmany matches do you se lehman bowl.
IND: Only Tendulkar..To make your point you went too far to even count Agarkar and Yuvraj as all rounder.
ENG: Giles an allrounder. Are you kidding.
NZ: Only Cairns... Others are Just part timers. Cant have a place in team on just one of bowling and batting.
SL:Only Jaysurya.Others can match the calibre of Shoib & Razzaq.
WI: Only Gayles. Just moving one's hand in circle and throwing ball doesnt make Sarwan and powell rounder.Bravo is better all rounder than Sarwan & Powel
I will agree with fair and balance. Sometimes wins/losses are not true measure of the level of the cricket a team plays at. In recent past, when pakistan was 66-4 chasing a total in excess of 250, they just catipulated meekly but this new spirit took them so close. We need to cross the finishing line and not fall so close this often. I am extremely disappointed but am proud of some performances.

Armughal bhai, An allrounder is the one who can make the team either as a batsman or as a bowler alone. Malik and Razzaq fit the bill. Now lets look at the other names you suggested.
AUS: Symonds and Lehman are part time bowlers and will remain so. Harvey cannot make the team only as a batsman or cant he? nopes. Same goes for Watson
IND: ALL are part timers, no genuine bowler
WI: Gayle is a genuine allrounder these days. Other two are part timers.
ENG: Flintoff is the worlds best these days. You mentioned Giles? Allah khair.
NZ: Only Cairns is a genuine one. Harris and Styris cannot be dubbed as such.
SL: Jayasuriya. Thats it. Rest are part timers OR bowlers who can bat a bit.
razzaq can make the team only as a bowler or only as a batsman????
u gotta be kidding....
and can malik do the same????
no, i dont think so....
when u have players (allrounders) like imran khan or sobers then u can say that they can make the team as only a bowler or as only a batsman....
or we have kallis and flintoff these days....
but players like razzaq, malik, klusener, styris etc only get selected cuz they can bat and bowl....
but neither one of them wud make the team if they were to only bat or only bowl....
if razzaq cud not bowl, how many of u wud have him in the team as a batsman????
and if malik cud not bat, how many of u wud like to see him as a bowler only????

Humm... Last 2 years Razzaq Played just as a batsmen. His bowling was pathetic. Now(last 2 months) he is bowling very good and can make it either way.
Same is true about Malik. How many good batting could be attriburted to Malik before asia cup.
Yes I agree, they are not as good as Flintoff or Kallis but in last 2 months theyhave performed as good as them and that is what I was trying to say in my first post.
