Saw on TV. Arif Lohar was presenting some show on Prime TV. The topic was Cultural and Cultural heritage of Pakistan.. so he goes:
“hamara Culture is this.. hamara Culture is that.. We have this, we have that..”
So he got my attention… I was waiting for him to name a few significant things which we have in our culture…
Instead he starts to mention “Pakoray”.. Okay I know we have Pakoray in our country and it could be part of out culture in some way…
He carries on an says that: “I miss Pakoray when I go out of the country” I mean come on…
And he says that: “No matter where he goes, he never gets to eat the Pakoray that they make in Pakistan”
he is the one to talk about culture. I remember recently a video of his came out in which he is holding his chimta and pretending to be a rap/rock/paindoo star, wearing baggy clothes and a hoodie. Really really f'ed up video. I liked him when he dressed up with his shiny dhoti and kameez.
I mean come on…
