First and foremost he will make a best moderator. Second none of you posses the knowledge and education BB has about all religions.

(a) BB has been publishing his newsletter for years to voice Islaam and Muslims
(b) BB is a founder and President of TWO non-profit organizations, which provides FREE services in USA to Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
(c) BB has been engaged in Dawah for years.
(d) BB have educated countless Muslims and non-Muslims alike about Islaam and Muslims to eradicate bigtory and religious hate which is a core issue here
(e) BB is an author of many e-books
(f) BB's knowledge of all religions is UN-questionable
(g) BB retaliates only against enemies of Islam and Pakistan
(h) BB has published computer software available FREE form many major sites including Islamic Web Site to educate Ummah and others as well.
(i) BB is well respected in community and state alike
(j) Most importantly BB is eager and always available to serve and defend Islam and Ummah.

The above are very few of BB's qualifications out of many. BB will be best moderator for Religion forum, which is out of control because of evil forces from darkside.

First thing is that if a post appears by Admin, it represents the Pak.Org administration as a whole and not Azkar Choudhry or the moderators of these forums. There are at least 6 people involved in the day top day maintenance and evolution of this site and the whole Pak.Org network. Occasionally, these admins have to poke in their heads to keep the forums in general alignment with the other websites of the network.

I, Azkar Choudhry, try to keep a distance from the day to day running of these sites and specially GupShup. While, I strongly believe that this is a MUSLIM website, who is to decide who is a Muslim and who is not? My stand is that Quaran is the authority. It has all the answers we seek.

The purpose of the forum was to open a channel to listen to other people and improve us. It was supposed to be a place where people can come and ask about Islam and seek advice. Unfortunately, recent events tell us something totally different, that we are a bunch of hypocrites who don’t even know how to present their own religion.

There is a thing called credibility. It’s a hard earned personal trait. One can only listen to someone with respect and open ears if s/he demonstrates the teachings in his/her doings. As a layman, I don’t see it happening here. I am sorry to say, but majority of the so-called scholars come here with giga bytes of stored info and start pushing it out without actually demonstrating it. I won’t name anyone, but I had highest regard for some people until they started to retaliate in the common bazaar language using others’ mothers and sisters as their targets. Excuse me!! That’s not the religion you are supposed to spread!!

All I have to say is, please, build up your own credibility before you start preaching. I know for sure, I cannot jump in here and start preaching religion. One has to have Masters’ knowledge and exemplary record to do that. While I struggle to be a good Muslim, I cannot say I am there yet. So, people, please!!! Watch your inner selves before you start preaching. We need Islamic Scholars here. We need to spread this great religion to each and every corner of the world. Why don’t we start by building ourselves first? Why don’t we adhere to the teachings of Islam and rules of conversation engagement first? Why don’t we just leave moms and sisters of this for a while and for once act like a man or a woman and debate what’s right or wrong? If you so deeply feel that your philosophy is correct, why don’t you prove it by showing that YOU follow it?

And, each and every human being knows deep in his heart if he is following the rules or not. Only a few people need to be told that.

Hamza was out of country. So, we have asked our good friend Roman to take care of the moderation of this forum until Hamza returns or we find a suitable substitute. Roman was a moderator here earlier and knows inside out the tricks and tools of the trade to keep it a healthy place. Please welcome Roman.

The person has to be unbiased meaning the moderator cannot promote his/her version of Islam.
