What do you think of something like this for a mayun or mehndi? The cut of the shirt is lovely!

The only things is these "special cut shirts" go outta fashion very quickly....these days trends are moving on a lightening speed... by the time you have finished contemplating and actually gotten around buying the dress....the trend for that style is already on its last limb!
At least that is what happens to me :|

Really like it! I do agree with Choozy. Also, you'll be sitting down through most of the event (other than when/if you are dancing) so not sure how much you'd get to show off the cut.

This isn't for me as a bride or for my mehndi.
But I think it will look so lovely on anyone dancing at a mehndi.
I think this would look more beautiful to wear on mayoun or mehndi!
