You still don’t get it huh. For people who believe in lets say a God for example, there is ‘proof’ everywhere, from living organisms as complex as humans to the massive amounts of planets, stars, galaxies etc. etc. Now you may not see it that way but that doesn’t mean what they believe is wrong. And as far as people who are creating laws against gays, their proof is the bible. Again you may think, it’s not legitimate enough but it doesn’t matter because it is to them.

that is exactly the problem. if the “proof” is only good enough for those who will make the blind leap into their faith and not hold up in an objective court of law, it can simply not be the basis of laws than form a fair and functional mixed society. if you look back at the thread, the reason this proof talk started was because monk wants everyone to accept his wispy met@ views on evolution being nothing and jins being real. well, not without any proof. if you don’t have it, dont make such demands outside of your religious congregations.
