You still don’t get it huh. For people who believe in lets say a God for example, there is ‘proof’ everywhere, from living organisms as complex as humans to the massive amounts of planets, stars, galaxies etc. etc. Now you may not see it that way but that doesn’t mean what they believe is wrong. And as far as people who are creating laws against gays, their proof is the bible. Again you may think, it’s not legitimate enough but it doesn’t matter because it is to them.

I respectfully disagree re laws against gays based on the Bible Quran or Gita. Your religious beliefs end where another person’s rights start. It is ok for you (not specifically you ) to believe whatever you want about gays, muslims, Hindus Christians etc. But when your religious beliefs are made into laws that intrude on another HUMAN BEINGS rights, that is when fair minded people will rise up. And prevent it from happening.

At ALL costs.

To add, whenever there is conflict between ANY holy books teachings and common sense and fairness, one should discard the former and go with the latter. THIS SHOULD BE THE CORE PRINCIPLES BY WHICH RELIGIOUS FOLKS AND ATHEISTS live.
