THINK POSITIVE MOVEMENT

Point number 3 off course.

but that requires admitting the problem and its existence.

How many governments, people sectors have even acknowledge the core issues in Pakistan and finding solution being the next step.

Cleanliness, education, justice, security, journalism, media coverage and contents, production of basic food items, energy crisis including lack of electricity, noise on the streets and clean water. All deserve to be mentioned with sincereity. ( Next time you go to even a classy resturant and pray you will not be sick for next several days. Someone did not wash hands or utensils in hot water and soap. And you pay the price for someone else being lazy or irresponsible)
Why do people have to play loud music or drive a rickshaw without silencer on streets is beyond imagination.

Everyone is so worked up with political leg pulling, running after 'kursi' and name callings. Basic infrastructure is not organized so someone has to keep reminding.

Even educated people from every sector (lawyers, engineers, doctors, bank managers, college school teachers and students contribute to pollution and garbage on street) Truth hurts but someone has to speak out befor finding solution. Accepting weakness is not the solution.

Traffic with no direction is norm and is accepted by everyone. It makes everyone frustrated, get high blod pressure, accidents and late for work or to hospital. Don't you think that needs attention?.

Whats wrong with cleaning the wound and then putting clean dressings.
Do we want to put band-aid on deep wounds which need debridement?

I absolutely see and admire your intention and motivation.

Combination of positive approach to finding solution and being truthful is needed.

Re: THINK POSITIVE MOVEMENT

I think...Pakistan's first priority should be to produce more and sell more (inter)nationally to absovle our debts and to try to stand on our own feet firmly... :)

Re: THINK POSITIVE MOVEMENT

well done danday_wala good thread....

p.s. its soo hard to take people with a funny avatar serious....:)

Zabardast bhai, actually thats a very good point.

Improve image... attract investment, produce more...sell more...
Very positive!

First we need to get rid of this bad publicity. Hey we should learn from our eastern neighbors, "the shameless champions of self promotion".

How they hide all the social evils... have a good standing in the west.
Therefore, I always say discuss your Pak troubles. But always keep in mind, there are non-pak reading as well...

CE: Thanks.

When it comes to Pakistan, I get very emotional.
Thats my home.

There is absolutely no doubt same problems are in many other countries including our eastern neighbor. This is Pakistani forum and where else you would think problems need to be discussed. Anyone who has bad and ill-intentional opinion can be shoved where it belongs so why worry.

Good point on making Pakistan free of others unnecessary support and work hard to produce more valuable goods.

Great thing Pakistan has going is alert and vigilant new generation which is aware of problems and despite lack of many resources making the best out of computer, electronic and medical technology etc.

Pakistan has many talented physicians and surgeons who are not only trained outside but even from its own institutions. Results of heart surgery are marvelous. Despite lack of medicine and some equipments major operations are performed at low cost and general public gets benefit without paying much. Thats compared to what anyone would pay elsewhere.

Who can find even one Edhi elsewhere? No example since he did it with extremely low resources and a lot of good people joined for his great cause.

Good post by the way.
