So what are the things that you gave up after marriage in order to bring harmony to your relationship or those who are unmarried what the things you are ready to give up if need be after marriage.
Rishtas are so hard to come by these days both sides need to be willing to compromise on something. In my unfortunate rishta hunts the guy is unwilling to do anything.

I can’t think of anything I gave up. I got better at fighting productively, so gave up some of my ego.
Things I regret giving up: Committed relationship with parental family.
Things I do no regret giving up: Ideals about romantic love and desire to win arguments despite being right.

I think the thread is flawed, it could be easily all the beautiful things you got after marriage. Such an amazing thing to have someone who gives you love and devotion, gives you a hug when you go to work, is concerned when you are late and eagerly waits for you and sit on the next couch besides you to watch a movie, I look at her when she is not watching. I partied hard, drunk myself silly womanised everything but true happiness is in finding a partner for life.
