steam engines…rarely see…Indian Railways still runs decorated heritage trains in and around Delhii with US made steam engines with a half-globe front look like this one: this train is extremely popular with foreign tourists [as passengers] and locals [as watchers]…it has coaches from 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and the 2000’s.

Handheld fans. We used them back when load shedding was new. Now we’ve gotten used to it.

Before the popularity of fridge, people used to put their food inside a small cupboard with net screen on the front side so air could circulate but no machchar makhi.
