In last 3 days we have seen 3 massive rallys and jalsas where thosands of People have participated, starting from PML-N’s rally to MQM and PTI rally and jalsa respectively, everyone seem to be on power, some wants to hang president and some want to praise the same president and some is after the declaration of the assets and in due course, what about us? no body spoke about the problems we are facing… not in Karachi not in Lahore.. yes everyone was their to show its power on the streets but no one has shown any intend to use that power to fix the core issues we have and those issues are:
Ever increasing electricity and Gas tariffs… what actions or plans all these Jalsa and rally holders have to bring it down with immediate effect ( because they are being increased with immediate effect)
ever increasing petrol prices, which is directly effecting the high cost of transportation?
Right now because of loads of power cut, people are not getting electricity 24/7 once they they get it, how are they going to pay for if the existing tariff remained as it is?
Why no one speaks about it, it may be petty issue to all of them, but it is one of the major issues we are facing and it is threatening enough to eat out what our earnings we have???
Public meeting and rallies makes little difference,
There are two ways of getting power in Pakistan,
Elections and army coup.
Only 1971 was a different example when an elected leader came in power with help of army but that was due to Dhaka fall .
There is no chance of any big gains in election by any one.
Army gives no chance to any bloody civilian even he is their tout like .....
You remember Long marches of Qazi Hussain Ahmad and movement of Qaumi Itehad in 1977 .

You must be joking,
Altaf Hussain had huge Rally in order to protect presidency.... last time they had such rally on May 12, the president back then lost all his powers within 6 months and was thrown out of presidency...
Anyway, i my concern is, none of these rallies or Jalsa address the issues effecting me daily?? and i don't know why? can you tell me?
would you please paste those GOLDEN FARMODAAT here
Peace hanibal
It appears you have not heard the speech ... he claims that we have enough coal in Pakistan to fuel nations outside Pakistan, but no intervention from goverment to procure that energy, he wants to reduce the amount of money that goes to fuelling luxurious lifestyles for government. He wants all ministers to declare their external wealth before standing for elections and have a condition that no assets of candidates are outside. These are rigorous solutions in my opinion.

My problem is that i know about the coal project and the cost associated to generate power from these reserves, had i not been involved in these projects, i might have bought his words, but the things he stated are not practical, if today Pakistan set to use those coal in use, it will take another 5-10 years to the net production of 12,000 MW, whereas by that time, the demand of electricity will increase...no to mention that developing these projects have its own cost let alone development of the coal mines..
As for the leadership they can say whatever suits them, he could have went ahead and said, since the gas is readily available, he would switch all the oil fired power generating units to gas, and because Pakistan have its own gas, it can sell the gas at the par.... this could have been more realistic and quick then talks about coal....
don't want to talk about other things, they are just statements, if he is so eager to have assets of all politicians to be declared, then why not declare his assets first and that is not all, the assets declaration should not be limited just telling us that what one owes but also that what was the source used to build/develop that asset, otherwise we might see a statement saying somebody gifted some expensive land to someone for free or someone have 500 Kanals of agriculture land valued at Rs 50,000 only...
so sorry i cannot buy that, although i also want to live in the dream world and promising things our leaders tells us, but that it is real hard for me....
In profession i am in, i have to keep myself updated on these...be it Pakistani govt signing MOUs with Tajikistan to buy Hydro-Electricity it may have in future or signing off KESC to some saudi prince without evaluating his potential to manage it...
and BTW it is not me we are discussing here, it is some New GOD found we are discussing
^ why are you worrying if your gods votes are going towards ik now, pmln have got chances over and over during the past 25 years and they have failed each time. I think it's better to have zardari in the next election than the idiot ns.

....and therefore we should not even start to develop those. Nice!
