i hv seen many girls go herself to buy all the things related to marriage.Last time poeple take few things with herself.
But now the girls the that few but with very good variety. like artificail jewlery , now they r buyng 10-12 sets herself. or someone said i am buying more earing and rings than sets etc etc.
So froem dress - shoes, skin care - hair care, accessioirs - bags.

like if we talk abut crokery now a days breakfast set is new to introduce. mny of mfriends don't know abut it. i told them like double boiler. so like this in any category any specailty or new discuss here.

just buy the stuff you are going to need
for example m buying bedsheets, blankets, a cooking set, dishes, mugs, glasses, and small appliances...my fiance has a lot of the stuff because he has been living here for a long time. we bought a house and we will need all of that plus more coz he doesnt cook and i will obiously be doing it now...so ill be needing different things....dont buy things u dont need....coz they will just be a waste of money and time....get bathroom stuff like towles and all...

According to my experience, if u r not shifting in anyother country then following things should be,
KITCHEN:4 dinner set like plastic,seesha, marble, cheeni.
wok(karhai) set like woke,pan, spoons for cooking,
petalay ka set,
soup set, ice cream set, (some time we can get with dinner set, but should be taken extra for daily use.)
tea set
knife set,
now extra glasses round about 30 and glass set i think 2 and extra mugs. quantity should be depend on that susral family. and yes spoon set as well
ACORORRIES: bed sheet decorative about 5,, 2 should be like luxury one for main event,, and extra cotton for daily use and easy wash.
blanket, qiult(razai) double and single both. dariyah,
electronics: fridge, tv, washing machine, sewing machine,
micro , oven, juicer, blander, double boiler ,
and talking abut bride ;
clothes stitched and unstitched like kam wale, kanari wale, machine embroidry, and hand embroidery, sari,some simple geogtte readymate, some simple cotton again depend on the weather. & shoes, chappel, like fancy , simple but elegant mostly that macthes,
skin & hair care product like face wash, toner, moisturizer, scrub, mask, shampoo , conditioner, etc. and make up goods: foundation, powder, mascara, eyeliner, diffrent shades of lipstick, lipgloss, blush on, eye shade, if we say more extra or may be need, then perfuem, powder, deo spray like fa roll on, hand bags, and artificail jewlery.
and some personal acceroirs and thing everyoone understand herself.
furniture for room and dinning and drawing room.
i tell u a stketch that usually poeple give and take . i know many of u know very well. but still i saw around who don't know well. even may be i miss any thn u can add.

but when u r moving and shifting another country with husband then my point of view, u take furniture for room only, like bed, dressing, two sofa set for room. tv ,
and take kitchen and accorires less.and no need to buy the electronics . instead of all parents should fix the money of ur daughter account on this behalf.
