Ok I thought it was a one off, but I found out today that a work colleagues mother-in-law put a frock on her son and took photos of him to keep. My mum did the same with my elder brother - luckily not with me !!!
You can imagine how I used to tease my elder brother …
How common is it to have had embarassing parents do things that pleased them, but you grow up wishing that they hadn’t?

When we moved into our house my mum was pregnant with my sister. Also the neighbour was pregnant also lol.. And then the other neighbour (theres only 3 houses in our avenue) was pregnant with her son.. But her daughter was also pregnant lol.! They all had boys n my mum had a girl..
My fiances mother did the same frock thing and also put a red scarf on him and hes butt naked lol.!

My mom and dad would NEVER dress my brothers up, even as a joke. My dad is strictly against it. Buuuuut to compensate for having no sisters I took the liberty of dressing my younger brother up with cute hairstyles and makeup. And then my Dad found out and gave me a huge lecture and indirectly said that dressing up a boy at that age confuses them and hence he might turn gay. :halo:

Err. I put a tiara and a dress on my nephew when he was a baby. He's 7 now and he doesn't give a crap now :S
Sometimes moms embarass u with the clothes they choose for u..my mom used to make my brother wear printed georgette dress shirts with corduroy pants and at special events-prince suits:smack:

All my uncles (and theres 9 of them) have this picture of my butt naked younger brother at the age of 4.it was taken by my mom.i dont know why she did that or who came up with the idea of making a copy for every ghar of the family. my brother who is MashaAllah 24 now,has managed to rip 5 of them apart so far. the remaining 4 are guarded like the Holy Grail. so is that beyond embarrassing and not normal family behavior?
