So I’m getting married in 3 months and really wanted to have started working out by now and trying to banish my disgusting belly. Unfortunately I’ve noticed, I’ve been skinny my entire life but have always had a bit of a belly. In the last 2 years though, I’ve gain weight all over…I’m about 110 lb and 5’1.
The problem is most of it is in my tummy area. I’m pretty thin all over…the bigger areas are tummy and next to that my thunder thighs…which I also want to try to get rid of.
What can I do to lose my belly fat without losing weight everywhere else? I definetly don’t wanna lose anything off my bum bum cuz I like the way it is right now. Is there hope for me? And is 3 months enough time? sigh
unfortunately you cannot "spot" reduce weight, i.e. there are no exercises that will remove fat from only the stomach area. My suggestion- hit the treadmill/cardio for about 30 mins daily and increase to 45 and 1 hour over the span of a month. Or join an aerobics class or something. Also, you have to start watching what you eat. your belly and legs will be toned. 3 months is plenty of time if you are disciplined enough to stay with it. And after you lose the weight, you can gain a little bit and it'll look nice, but not the 'thin all over but with a tummy' look.
ok i have the same problem as u.. i bought Jillian Michaels dvd workouts and honestly ive lost 7lbs in the first week :).. its a little tough but it works and my stomach has gone in a bit from the top as usually with abwork it goes from the top to the bottom of the stomach.. so maybe u can try tht?
