violence can happen in any country whether its Pakista or the USA. difference is that in places like the US u can call the police for help and they can respond . but in pakistan there is no law enforcement agency to call for help. rangers and policemen r useless, most of the time things happen right in front of them and they dont bother to do anything. so ur pretty much on ur own in any situation in pakistan.

In Madrid Trains they were safe
In Bali island they were safe
In Kabul they are safe
In Basra or Baghdad they are safe
On Airports of Heathrow and JFK where they make you naked and shake… ! then is it safe !

in pakistan it happens every other day! death is inevitable its true but i dont think that was the point of the thread starter

Last year , my sister got robbed two times in less than six month at her home . First time they even beat her husband in order to make him tell where he is hiding more money. They expected more than what they found. 
Both the times the kids were home too. First time they were very traumatized but looks like they now know it is norm so they are fine now.

Its because we are fighting in our cities that fight which should be in US/UK and Western cities.If we have not stopped these monsters and engage them in Pakistan , you would see all this happening there too. Thast why Mike Mulen,Boucher came running to Pakistan 4 times/month requesting Pak Army not to shift troops from Western Border to Indian Border.
Afterall this Gund is created ,nurtured,trained ,weaponized by all these imperialistic powers from 1979-1989 who ran from battle field right after USSR segregation without even considering thier welfare and how would these people cme to normal life.Now they are challenging thier unjust policies by use of terrorism and we are facing the brunt.

Biscoot baji, do you have family and friends living in Pakistan? Is it safe for them? The probability of you getting hurt there is same as your family / friends.

So than no object upon those conditions in Pakistan ! West and US is equally responsible for what is happening . Afterall they also have found Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq after killing 1 million innocents via FOX !

well not just 'imperialistic' powers, but also saudi arabia and pakistan.
whether it was later to have friendly borders to the west or helping in proxies in kashmir
lets attempt to be intelelctually honest and state the whole thing.

But lets get back to the topic of general safety in Pakistan.
and the randomness of risk,
issues with law and order i.e. police as well as court systems make it very tough to get justice and hoodlums know it.
it makes it tough, u better hope you dont cross anyone's path who is connected and goes after you.

I hate to agree with you on this X2, but you are so right. This is a very unfortunate aspect of living in Pakistan.

it may not be a safe place, but we cant just stop going there. if everyone leaves the country, there will be no pakistan left.
